Ive been taking loestrin birth control and recently had to take fluconazole for a yeast infection. It says it can decrease the effectiveness of birth control. I took it on the 22nd and had unprotected sex on the 27th . Im paranoid about getting pregnant. I dont know how long that medicine stays in your system and i dont have the money to get a plan b pilll. im really worried.

Had period 6 days later heavy period?

I started my period on june 18 then i ended on june 23 and it was a pretty normal period. then on june 28 i started another period..i was very stressed during that 6 day time. and it seemed like a normal period but this morning i woke up with severe cramps and back aches. and i had a long looking blood clot. it felt like another miscarriage but not as bad. but the pain still hurts. i am only 18 years of age. Semi-large bump on the outside of my vagina, What could it be?

There is a large red bump just over my vaginal area, I've had what I thought was a fairly bad yeast infection for weeks now. I'm now 3 days late for my period. What would cause dizziness and shaking?

I am 20 years old, I have been in basically good health besides getting my tonsils removed when i was eight years old. I am extremely small, I am 5'3'' and weigh usually from around 89lbs-94lbs. The heaviest I've been is 100lbs even. I eat normally, 3 meals a day. I get check ups, and they always tell me I'm healthy. For a while now, I don't know how long exactly I have been getting random episodes o light headed-ness and dizziness. It's pretty random, sometimes I will be walking into my bathroom and get dizzy. When that happens my vision gets bright then goes black, and I try to sit down. Sometimes it goes away, sometimes I end up shaking rapidly and jerking around until it passes. If I don't sit down immediately sometimes I pass out and other times my knees give out and I shake and jerk around on the floor. I have no idea what it could be. It's been happening for a really long time. Since I was 14 maybe. I'm concerned now maybe because I am older and see the seriousness of it, or maybe because it has been happening much more often. When I was younger it would happen rarely and I always thought it was dehydration, or i hadn't eat or something of the sorts.

Hello all... I have kind of an awkward question to ask. I am currently 8 months pregnant with my 2nd child and for the last 3 months or so i have been fighting an unbearable yeast infection. I've tried monistat, and azo yeast but nothing seems to be helping. The monistate took it away but it comes back. I've never had a yeast infection before and quite frankly I didnt even know what it was until i started to do research online and discovered that pregnant women are prone to them. I have a doctor appointment tmw for my 8 months check up but was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this? I have heard people say before that they have a yeast infection but they always said it so non chalantley like it was no big deal. This is something i personally have become very embarrassed and frustrated about and just want it to go away and stay away. Any advice or anyone else have this problem during pregnancy?

I've been taking Monistat 7 for the last 4 days for a diagnosed yeast infection.....and when i insert the medicine before bed it doesn't really burn but the next day when the medicine starts to come out it burns my vaginas lips pretty bad making them red and irritated....I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Dastardly discharge dilemma?

I know the whole deal about your lady parts not smelling like a rose garden. I'm 15 and it just grosses me out. I make sure when I take a shower that I splash water down there and all. Heat stroke or alcohol poisoning?

I went up to the beach about a week ago with my friends, and I got really drunk one night. The next day I felt still drunk so I thought it was just leftover cuz I never drank that much before, and I'm a small 17 year old girl, and I drank a little again that night. Now it's almost a week later, and I still feel dizzy and sorta numb. My nurse said since I got a really bad sunburn it's probably heat stroke or dehydration or both, combined with allergies, but she doesn't know about the drinking. Well im going to be 30 weeks this thursday. I walk all the time and everyone said that makes labor go by fast! This is my first pregnancy and i want it to be less painful as possible! Advice about Incontinence?

I wet the bed almost every night and it is not just once. I do not usually wake up till morning and it seems I wet several times as my diaper is totally soaked through. I usually don't have any problems during the day but if I do it is because I have almost no warning that I need to pee so it makes it very tough to make it to the bathroom in time. other times I have plenty of warning and make it just fine. I am a big water drinker due to some other medical problems that I have that can cause severe dehydration and serious repercussions from that. So cutting down on fluid intake is not an option. the Doctor so far sees no reason for the wetting but would like me to go to a urologist for further investigation into the problem. I know that my bladder is weak but it has not been a big issue until the last few months. I only had occasional accidents at night mainly when i was sick. But now it has been ever night. Any advice is welcome please no rude comments as this is an actual medical problem.

Well for a little over 3 weeks I was having yeast infection symptoms. I used Vagisil whenever I needed to but then I finally went to the doctor. My doctor did a test to see if anything else was there and it came back fine so she gave me a one time pill and a medicated cream to put on. At first it was okay but then it didn't go away. I switched back to Vagisil two nights ago and it started to burn like crazy so I did it twice and when that didn't help I stopped. I haven't put anything on since yesterday. It wasn't so bad today but when I looked it was very red and there was something that looked like a tiny cut almost. It wasn't from shaving because I don't shave that far back, it was all the way in the back. I think your hamsters death was either caused by a disease he got from where you got him from, a pet store probably, or maybe it was dehydration, because there are a lot of cheap water bottles out their. The best thing you can do now it get another hamster or pet so that you can let this into the past. If you do decide to get another hamster, get another cage, waterbottle, bedding, food dish, or anything that your hamster touched because even if you wash it, the disease could have spread and you can't just get rid of it with soap and water. I'm a 13 year old boy, 6'2, and I have a rather "scrawny appearance", if you will. For the past nine months I've been going to a gym with a personal trainer two to three times a week, and my measurements barely changed. My diet on average consists of about 90-100 grams of protien a day, and I'm beginning to question if that's an adequate amount. My trainer told me that I should eat about 1.5 times my body weight, which is about 220 grams of protien a day, and I simply don't have enough food to make up for that amount. I also used to be dehydrated for the first 8 months of my training because I used to neglect my "daily water intake". Could dehydration be the problem, or not enough protien? Will 90 grams of protien daily ever make atleast some subtle changes, now that I'm more hydrated?

They may not have suspected your eating disorder, but wanted to put you on a healthy diet so you gain weight healthily in the right way... but i'm really glad that you did open up and come clean about it. I battled with it myself in secret, but with the help of my sister I started eating again gradually, and though it does affect me most days, I know i'm through the worst patch and dont ever want to get back the point I was at. It definatly isnt easy..ive never felt so low as I did. Best thing to do, I found, was to do things that took your mind of food, like keep yourself busy, which means less time to think about it and less time to focus on weight. I need medical advice and I don't know where to start?

3 weeks ago my doctor prescribed me Flagyl to cure bacteria in my body. After I finished the week prescription, I got a yeast infection. Last week I treated that and 3 days later I got a UTI. I have had it since Sunday. Monday I got a sinus infection and today I started my period. I am not a happy camper. I have had 2 liters of cranberry juice since Sunday, 32 oz of OJ, and lots of water. Straight after that i had to do the relay race, and i just had to sprint 100m but the same thing happened again when i stopped and i felt so weak and it didnt feel like myself. I hadnt drank anything since 8 in the morning and i was running at 2pm, so i hadnt drunk for 6 hours. Could it be dehydration? Plus it was raining and quicte cold, i dont know if that makes any difference though:) could anyone tell me why i was like that?

Well...so I had a bacterial infection a few months ago. I went to see my doctor and she did a check up to make sure I didn't have an std and tha test came out gud and I don't have an std. My doctor prescribed me something that took tha infection away but then after it went away I got my period, when my period went away tha bacterial infection came back. So I got my doctor to prescribe that stuff to me again and it went away again. But now for tha past week I feel like there's another problem and of course this is ryte after my period again. When I had tha bacterial infection, tha discharge had a really bad odor but it never itched. Now I'm guessing this might just be a yeast infection because it itches really bad but doesn't really have a bad odor, but my discharge is kind of thick and clumpy, a little bit like cottage cheese. Also, there is a tiny sore on it but I think its just an in-grown hair from shaving because I've had this same sore in tha same spot before but it was forever agao when I was like 15 and I'm 18 now. When I had it when I was 15 it just went away on its own in like a week and that's what its doing now. It doesn't hurt or anything, only if u apply pressure to it. Calf pain when running?

my left leg is good to go, never gives me an issue. My right leg..the lowest part of my calf, hurts after running, and its tender to press on with my thumb...just wondering if anyone has any idea why this could be. I'm sorry your son is going through this and I wish him a speedy recovery. The problem is, it's very hard to sue a hospital. The doctors were going by his symptoms and the fact he was just seen for dehydration. It will be hard to prove that they were negligent. As per some of the other answers on here, something like Imodium should help with the actual diarrhea, and the fluid replacement drink which I assume is what your boyfriend bought you (mixed up as per the instructions) will prevent dehydration (as with diarrhea you lose salts as well as fluids, which upsets your body chemistry and sets your recovery back).

I have had a burning tongue, and mouth bumps under my tongue, along my gums, and feels like in my throat as well for almost 2 weeks. Also, my mouth has a weird taste, kind of like chicken broth or something as weird as that sounds when I wake up in the morning. I recently had oral given and received (about 3 weeks ago) with a new partner and now I'm terrified I have something. I've also had headaches, a vaginal yeast infection (which i've treated already) and still some general discomfort down there, but as far as I can tell no sores or blisters in the genital area SO FAR. I feel like the timing is too much of a coincidence for it to be something else other than an STD, but i'm just praying its nothing incurable like herpes or anything. Ah i totally know that feeling! My boyfriend broke up with me back in november and we had been together just over 2 years, i cried so much and I conviced myself i still loved him until around January time. For as long as I can remember I've always had bad stomach aches and nausea. I'm 14 now, and they have defiantly gotten worse. I get really sore and my arms and legs feel tingly at times, I get so dizzy and I feel off balance like I could fall over, and I feel weak a lot. Okay so about 6 months ago, I shaved my pubic region and had unprotected sex with a guy whod only only had sex with one girl for 2 years. My friend has a ten year old heeler/rat terrier ***** that accidentally got out and got bred by the male heelers that they have. (And yes, though I've begged and goaded and all else, they won't get their dogs fixed!!!) She was bred twice that we know of. (absent minded father left her out with the others) I want to know the probability of her getting pregnant and carrying pups to birth. But I also already know that she had trouble with her last litter, she nearly gave up pushing with a pup half out. I don't think that they will have the knowledge enough to save the pups if she dies during labor. I volunteered myself to raise the pups should that happen, (yes I know, I'm freaking insane to do such a thing) But I don't want the pups to die because they are incompetent about raising and rearing dogs. Also it doesn't help that I'm pretty sure that all of the adult dogs are carrying the parvo virus, because their last few litters had it and most died. (and sadly they don't know anything about parvo so they didn't take them to a vet and gave the puppies ice cream to combat dehydration. Sippy Cup Nightmare! What To Do?

I had the same problem with my daughter. She wouldn't drink out of a sippy cup until she was almost 2.Both my boys were bottle broke at 11 months. Every child is different. I know doctors say they need to be off the bottle by age one but my daughter just wouldn't budge. I went ahead and allowed her to have her bottle until age two when she had a better understanding and I could reason with her. Nows she's 4 1/2 and I can't get her off her sippy cup.::big eye roll:: She just started preschool last week so I'm hoping by her not having her sippy cup during the day she will transition into a regular cup. If he's dead set on not drinking out of a sippy cup and your worried about dehydration you could always give him his bottle back during the day but only fill it with water. Leave the sippy cup out with his favortie drink in it and see if that might pursude him to drink from it.That way he can choose. I know it seems like a step back but some kids just aren't ready to give up the bottle. If your dead set on moving forward with the sippy cup transition I would suggest you not give him a bottle at night. This is sending mixed messages. I'm sure a lot of people won't agree with me but I don't see anything wrong with a child having a bottle past one year. My daughter kept hers until she was two and we've had no issues with her. I think it was more of a security thing. Like now with her sippy cup. She can and will sometimes drink out of a regular cup but she prefers her sippy. Good luck!

so my area has been itching really bad and tonight it is almost unbearable. Three years ago i had the same problem (itching along with these white sores in my vagina) and i went to two doctors (i was a virgin then and still am, there is no possible way that this could be and std) and neither knew what it was but my one doctor just gave me an antibiotic and i was instantly cured in a matter of days.
