Volume on my laptop not working !?

I havent been able to use my laptop for 2 months but when i got it back today i tried to listen to music on it but the volume didnt work . then i went to go on youtube and the volume on that didnt work either . i made sure the volume was high , i checked the sou d settings , did system restore , & audio playback problems . i'm not sure what is going on but i need help please ,, ):
