Beating pain at top of head and sometimes side of head, and weird vision, hard to focus eyes?

have had for about 2-3 weeks a headache, sometimes worse than other times, its usually a beating pain on the top of my head or at the side, people say it is due to dehydration but im worried, i have an absolute phobia of going to doctors due to hating needles, it could be a migraine? or an eye problem? im 16year old male, please help!
